Main Street Looking South, Higginsville, Missouri This postcard view pictures Main Street from the north end of the business district of Main Street rather than the more commonly seen views from the south end. Signs for three different service stations can be seen: The D-X at left, Cities Service at the right, and a Standard station one block south on the left. Just past the D-X sign is the Ford dealer which still remains (2008) at the same location. Many of the other buildings pictured are also still standing. Published by L. L. Cook Co., Milwaukee. Printed on Kodak paper. The postcard was not postmarked but dates from the 1950's.
