United States Federal Census Records on CD and DVD Hearthstone Legacy Publications has began making the highly popular United States Census Records from microfilm available on inexpensive CDs and DVDs. Collected every ten years, census records have long been popular among genealogists for tracking the location of a family over an extended period of time. For genealogy purposes, the records also show the name and age of each family member, state of birth, parents state of birth, education, and occupation. Later census records include more details than early census records. Whether you are just starting to work on your family tree or have progressed to more advanced genealogy research, census records are an important part of the process. The first Census CDs available are for counties in Missouri and will be followed by additional states. New Census Records titles will be made available, so check back often. Our free newsletter for lovers of genealogy and history will announce each new CD available.
